#1(Non Representational Art)

                                                             Art study
“#1” is the title of my non-representative art that invites the viewers to make their own perception of how they want to see the painting as a whole or how they want to interpret it. The title “#1” is intentionally put because my goal is to let the viewer’s imagine another picture or another figure of what the painting could represent.

My main reference for this painting is the abstract movement of the brush while using the colour that corresponds to what I feel when I listen to rock music. I paint this on the white side of a ¼ illustration board in order to see if there would be any contrast on the figure itself. The painting were made through spontaneous application of the chosen colours that corresponds to what I feel.

This work engages us to see “rock” in another perspective and see how I feel when I listen to this genre. This is a work that shows my perspective and how different people can have different perspective on this art.

The video recording for this artwork was unfortunately not available because I encountered a problem where I was not able to save the video due to lack of memory.
